Truck and tractor pulling returns to Crane this weekend with the 3rd Annual Lonnie Greenway Memorial Pull, set for Saturday, Oct. 10, at 6 p.m. at 477 Dodge Hollow Road.

Concessions will be available at the event, with proceeds benefiting the Crane High School FFA chapter. According to the Crane FFA Alumni & Supporters, concession funds help expand opportunities for FFA members to attend events, including the National FFA Convention later this month.

Admission is $10 for ages 12 and up. Children under 12 get in free.

The pull is sanctioned by the Southern Missouri Truck & Tractor Pulling Association (SMTTPA) and features 13 classes: 10,500 Altered Stock Tractors, 11,000 Hot Stock Tractors, Hot Stock Trucks, Small Block SS Trucks, 9,000 Pro Field Tractors, Super Street Trucks, Pro Street Trucks, Pro Stock 4x4 Trucks, Stock 2WD Trucks, DOT 2WD Trucks, Pro Stock 2WD Trucks, Hometown Gas Trucks and Hometown Diesel Trucks.

Spectators looking to support local agricultural education are encouraged to come hungry.
